ClaimShield combines connected water-heater condition monitoring with role-controlled insurance software for policies, claims, alerts, maintenance, customer service and portfolio reporting.

CLAIMSHIELD OVERVIEW

See ClaimShield in Action

Discover how ClaimShield combines condition monitoring, insurance operations software and preventative workflows to support earlier intervention, better-informed claims handling and improved operational resilience.

INSURANCE OPERATIONS SOFTWARE

One connected view of risk, service and claims.

ClaimShield brings customer, insurer, policy, claim and GeyserGuard information into a controlled digital environment. Authorised users can follow the relationship between an insured property, its monitored equipment, developing condition alerts, service interventions and any resulting claim instead of working across disconnected records.

Policy and claim control

Verify customer, policy and insurer relationships; capture and review claims; monitor pending, approved and rejected outcomes; record authorised amounts and decision notes; and search for existing claims before creating duplicates.

Connected risk context

Associate each compatible monitored unit with its customer, property and policy. Review current health classifications, reading timestamps, recent trends, active alerts and maintenance history as supporting operational context.

Coordinated service response

Route Warning and Critical conditions into accountable follow-through through alert acknowledgement, customer contact, maintenance requests, technician assignment, appointments, priority and completion records.

INSURER PERFORMANCE ADVANTAGES

Designed to improve visibility before and after a loss.

  • Earlier awareness of developing equipment conditions
  • Faster initial claims triage with policy, device, alert and service context
  • Clearer ownership of warnings, inspections and maintenance actions
  • Reduced dependence on fragmented spreadsheets, email trails and manual follow-up
  • Portfolio views of claim activity, device health and unresolved operational risk
  • Consistent records and audit history for quality review and investigation
  • Customer self-service that supports awareness and preventative participation
SOFTWARE CAPABILITIES

From individual policyholders to portfolio oversight.

The available ClaimShield software supports the following insurer and service workflows, subject to the permissions and modules enabled for each deployment.

Customers and policies

Maintain customer and insurer records, policy references, policy types, premium information, status and the relationship between the insured party, property and monitored equipment.

Claims administration

Capture incident references, dates, descriptions and claimed amounts; review supporting context; track claim status; record authorised outcomes and preserve decision information.

Device and alert monitoring

Register compatible units and view Satisfactory, Warning or Critical classifications, latest readings, trends, connectivity timestamps, alerts and devices requiring attention.

Maintenance operations

Receive customer service requests, review technicians, schedule appointments, set priority and duration, add operational notes, update progress and retain completion history.

Analytics and reporting

Analyse claims by status, period, insurer, policy type and amount; review approval rates and policy distributions; and produce device, comparison and executive reports with PDF or Excel exports where enabled.

Access and auditability

Separate customer, insurer, service and administrative responsibilities through authenticated, role-based access while retaining audit information for controlled actions and material record changes.

CUSTOMER AND MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE

Useful information for every authorised role.

Customers can view their own policy-linked units, health status, active alerts, reports and service requests. Insurance and operational users can work across authorised portfolios, while management reporting provides a consolidated view of policies, claims, approved values, device health, alert volumes, maintenance and data quality.
